The all NEW mPod range from Bretford is an exceptionally portable storage and recharging facility for your school's netbooks or laptops. The revolutionary design enables you to transport your equipment between classes, while the robust high impact ABS plastic construction and reduced size means the mPod can also be simply placed in a car for transporting between different locations
Exceptionally Portable The light-weight shell and robust castors offer excellent mobility, enabling you to store, charge and transport up to 8 laptops with ease. Suitable for housing up to 12” laptops (models dependant). Handles at both ends provide a safe two-person lift option and the reduced size means the mPodTM can be easily carried up stairs or placed in a car for transporting between different locations. Easy Access Top opening lid is held open by a gas strut to allow for quick set up and easy access to equipment. Space Saving The unique compact design can stand upright or be stacked, ideal where space is limited (max 3 mPods stacked). Power Management All models feature a built-in Electronic Power Management system (EPM) that regulates the amount of current being drawn from the mains supply, preventing the school’s circuits being tripped and so minimising classroom disruption. Utilises the laptop’s own power pack and connecting lead for charging Wifi Allocated space for housing a wireless router (router not supplied) with an external CAT socket for easy connection to a network point (Wifi mounting plate is an optional extra). Green Credentials The all-new energy saving ‘Auto-Power-Off’ feature automatically switches the unit off after an 8 hour charging cycle, allowing the unit to be left to charge over the weekend or night without wasting energy. Future Proof Features a 5 year guarantee (1 year on electrics & foam inserts). Security Locks with 2 padlocks and can be tethered to a fixed point through the security anchor providing a significant theft deterrent. Construction Robust high impact ABS plastic construction supports the unique design and features fan controlled ventilation and shock absorbing, colour coded foam compartments to protect your equipment during transport.
